Prepared for anything

Funeral preplanning. My grandmothers and my mom did this. They pre-planned their funeral so when they passed away all we had to do was call the funeral service and off they set up for us.

I want to do the same. As soon as I finish paying for my dad’s I will take care of my own. I don’t want to leave behind grief and burden to my love ones. I want to go prepared for anything. I want my love ones not to be burdened with the costs of my funeral if ever.

I am sure you want that, too.

Heads up, parents!

Are you looking for the best website to buy the baby jogger city select? Well, I found the site and I think I will order one for my godchild. A neighbor to whom I am very close to gave birth and told me I am godmother to her kid. I know she has no stroller for her baby so I thought I’ll get my newest godchild one.

It could be a bit pricey if you think about it. I could get my godchild something else. But I really want something that the baby can use when he has to go out of the house and people will see him in it.

Quote for today…

One day your life will flash before your eyes. Make sure its worth watching.

There was a tiny booklet that a friend of mine in high school gave to me. It contained a cartoon of what would happen to us when we pass away, when we come face to face with our Creator. And it is scary because our life will be flashed before our very eyes, right in front of the One Who made us. It’s cringe-worthy!

So be sure you are living a life you can watch with your Creator when the time comes.

Are you?

Multi-awarded actress

She has so many trophies her old display stand no longer can carry another one. And she has two coming for a movie she made. So what she’s going to do is discard her old display stand and buy a new one. She is scouring the web for the right one and she’s going by her instincts. Her display stand is very special to her because she is really, really proud of her awards.

She has her display stand on a corner in her living room so everyone can see it. She is that proud of being a multi awarded actress!

I saw it in a news report a while back and I was actually scared when I saw it. Can you imagine strolling in the mall or anywhere and someone will just point a device to your bag or purse and the bad person now has everything he/she needs to steal from you!

Use rfid credit cards wallet to reject the advances of the bad person. Use it and stay safe from getting your financial and personal information stolen.

Cupcake and tea

cupcake and tea

I prefer cupcake and tea for my mid-afternoon snack. I try to drink just one cup of coffee a day for the past couple of weeks now due to my hyperacidity. So in the afternoon it’s tea for me as an alternative to my coffee.

And I am liking it! Tea with milk and a pinch of sugar in it.

Early morning market

Filed Under: And Think @ April 17, 2012 | Comments Off

I accompanied by aunts to the market last week. It was a really early morning market run for us. I was amazed at how some stalls already have barcode scanners so it would be easier to scan items being bought. I think the last time I went on a market run was several years ago. Yes, that long! Someone’s doing the market for us that’s why.

I told my aunts that next time they have to buy a lot again, they should ask me to go with them. It’s fun roaming around the market and checking out stuff.

Trusted by the boss

The boss trusted him to get the hydraulic cartridge that he needs as soon as possible. He was trusted by the boss to get other stuff for him in the past. His boss also trusted him with money. Even big amounts for payroll and such. His boss once tested his loyalty and trustworthiness without him knowing it. He passed with flying colors, according to him.

No wonder he’s now one of the boss’s most trusted employees. The boss knows he can rely on him. He knows that he can trust him with or without him nearby.

Cutting down wires

Filed Under: And Think @ April 16, 2012 | Comments Off

The men are using utility knives to cut down wires that got tangled with the trees. It should be cut off as soon as possible as another storm will be passing by the country and the community fears the cable wires will next get tangled on electric lines.

Storms are scary but since we’ve been used to it since we were kids, it becomes nothing more than a normal part of our lives. Still it is better for all of us to be prepared for one. It is not advisable to be complacent no matter how normal a storm is to anybody.

Turning to tea

tea

I am turning to tea to quiet my tummy. It might be the weather but I am going in and out of bad tummy aches. It is not a big deal but with the interruption to my work, it is becoming bothersome to me. Just this morning I went in and out of the bathroom due to upset stomach.

I will still have coffee but it will be tea after every meal for me for now.

Happy Monday everyone!

rose and key

One of my best friends and her boyfriend are finally getting married! The preparation is now in full swing. Currently bride and groom are talking about church seating and how many guests their budget can accommodate.

I am really saddened by the fact that I can’t attend the wedding. My friend told me that no matter if I will be there or not I would be one of her bridesmaids.

A vow they made.

They were seated around the firepit that night. Melissa, Andrea and the rest of their group. They made a vow that no matter what happens they will help each other live a better life. They will pull each other up until they are all living really good lives. If one of them needs help financially, help will be given by the one who has more than enough that time. If someone is in need of a new job, then they will all help in finding one. If someone needs moral support, then it will be given right away.

It is a vow that every single one of them will honor until the day they die.

Proud of her profession

She is proud to wear her nurse uniform. She is proud of her profession. She is proud that she can make a difference in a person’s life even by just taking care of the person when sick. She also knows that her tender loving care is very much appreciated by her patients, most especially the older ones.

She never really thought of taking up nursing back in high school. In fact, what she wanted was to become an optometrist after an aunt who paid for her college education. But along the way, she developed a love for the medicine. She shifted, took up nursing, and never looked back.

She’s been working in a government hospital for the past several years now.

Purpose in life

Life is crazy and totally unpredictable.
It’s going to push you over, kick you while you’re down…
and hit you when you try to get back up.
Not everything can beat you.
Things are going to change you,
but you get to choose which ones you let change you.
Listen to your heart, follow your dreams,
and let no one tell you what you’re capable of.
Push the limits, bend the rules, and enjoy every minute of it.
Laugh at everything, live for as long as you can.
Love all.
But trust no one.
Believe in yourself and never lose faith in others.
Settle for nothing but only the best.
And give 110% in everything you do!
Take risks,
Live on the edge yet stay safe.
And cherish every moment of it.
Life is a gift. Appreciate all the rewards. And jump on every opportunity.
Not everyone’s going to love you
But who needs them anyways.
Challenge everything.
And fight for what you believe.
Back down to nothing, but give in to the little things in life…
After all, that is what makes you.
Forget the unnecessary, but remember everything. Bring it with you everywhere you go.
Learn something new and appreciate criticism.
Hate nothing, but dislike all you want.
Never forget where you came from, always remember where you are going.
Live life to its fullest.
And have a reason for everything even if it’s totally insane.
Find your purpose in life… and live it!

*seek heaven
