Lured to a cult

I don’t know why there are so many people being lured to join cults. Human nature tells you to bond with another human being, join a group, worship the same gods others worship. Human instinct will tell you that the situation you are in is no longer healthy and safe.
Remember David Koresh? That sick man who sexually abused so many women and kids and made them believe that they could only be saved by killing themselves when the time comes the saviour comes? Yes, that man is one of the sickest cult leaders I’ve read about. I also watched a documentary about the man and it just made me want to shake some sense into the minds of those who joined his cult.
Education. This is a basic need of a person and he/she uses education to avoid being hurt. I just wish more and more people will realize that joining a cult is like pledging your life to a very troubled future.
