Holding on to a dream…

I held on to a dream for so long but it never materialized. I threw away the remaining reminder of that dream. It wasn’t for me. I’ve been looking at it from time to time, regularly actually when I started dreaming about it. But then it became seldom. Until I stopped.
It has been three or four years ago since I last looked at it. It was never meant to be.
Might as well throw it away now and then dream of a new one…
