Crazy in love

This friend of mine turns her back on all her friends when she’s madly in love. Her whole life would center around her current squeeze. She forgets everyone and would sacrifice everything for her man. She can be that crazy in love.
Sure, we understand her. Hey, it can happen to anybody, right? But what I can’t understand is how she can turn her back on her friends for the sake of keeping her man. She can create stories, tell lies, twist events to her advantage. All these so she will be portrayed as someone good and spotless and a damsel in distress.
She’s my friend. I do believe she’ll be my friend until the day I die. But sometimes, I feel an overwhelming urge to wring her neck just so she can straighten her ways when she’s in love!
