Suffering for years

My sister’s friend is undergoing adult acne treatment. She finally saved enough to have her acne treated. She’s been suffering from it since her teenage years and only managed to minimize it a few years back. But it keeps coming back especially when she’s over stressed from work. Someone suggested that she has it treated and now that she has the funds, nothing and nobody can stop her from getting rid of it.
And I say, go and do it! She looks like a shy person because of her acne but when you really know her, she’s not. She is just embarrassed when people look at her because she thinks they are looking at her reddish face. After the treatment, hopefully, the acne will be removed and she can face everyone with her face held high.
