Dad issues

My friend was telling me about a motorhome he heard that his father bought. He was really sad when he was telling me about it. He never experienced going on a trip with his dad because his stepmother is a jealous person.
His father separated from his mother when he was still a little kid. He remained close to him despite the separation but it was never the same as when they lived under one roof. And then he now has four half-siblings to contend with the affection of his father. It would have been okay had it not been for the fact that he hardly ever sees and talks to his dad anymore.
It was the one thing that hurts him the most. His father. I heard him talk about his financial problems in the past. His worries about his mom’s health. His difficulties in dealing with his relatives who think he’s a bank. But this issue with his dad is the one that he’s deeply hurt the most.
