Kept waiting

My friend was diagnosed with cancer. It’s heartbreaking, to say the least. It took her a while before she managed to face the truth. When she did, she made herself ready for the treatment.
But then when she went to the hospital where her healthcard is accredited, she was told that she would need to undergo a series of new tests because the doctors are not sure if the first diagnosis was right. They suspect it’s not cancer.
Now my friend’s left to wait. And waiting until now.
It’s so hard to be kept waiting. You don’t know if your life will be on standstill because of it. Good thing my friend is going on with her life like she’s not left dangled over the possibility of cancer and chemo sessions.
