Get the receipt

Giving out receipts is mandatory. I don’t know why some establishments just let the receipt printer capture the piece of paper and the customer will just get the items. I always ask for receipts. So that when I have to return or exchange an item I bought, I have proof of purchase. Based on experience, I keep the receipts for two weeks before I throw it out. By then, I would know if the items I bought are really in good condition and working properly.
Don’t forget to get your receipt when you buy something. It will save you when you encounter a defective product.
