Cut to the chase

I hate red tape anywhere. I’ve always believed that time is wasted when you go through this myriad of processes being implemented in government agencies when you can cut to the chase and go directly to the heart of the matter. A 5-part processing system can actually become 2 or 3 when you really think about it. I can mention several agencies but I’d rather not. That’s why as much as I possible, I delegate the task of processing anything related to the government.
Anyway, I just remembered my love-hate relationship with anything government agency-related because an older relative is asking me to help her with her disability insurance claims.
