The gift of tomorrow

Our society is so caught up in winning, we forget that most of the great men and women in history have, at one time or another, failed at something. Often repeatedly, and discouragingly. But each failure is nothing more than a brick in the wall that forms the foundation of our success. We can’t forget that.
—Carlton Young
I have failed so many times in the past. I have stumbled and fell really hard, but I got up and shook the dirt off. I took note of the mistakes and tried to correct it the best way I knew how. In others, I might not have succeeded. In some, yes. But I would like to think that all the hardships and failures of the past made me who I am right now. It made me stronger and braver. It made me become the resilient person I am.
Let’s not be discouraged by our failures. We should, in fact, be more motivated by each mistake we make along the way. Let’s make it a rallying point to becoming better and better. Do your best to leave the past behind and look forward to the future.
I have once read this: the greatest gift tomorrow can bring is the promise of a new start.
Happy Thursday everyone!
