Coffeeholic

When I was still in the corporate world, coffee kept me going. I remember being reprimanded by the pantry assistant because I could down one whole carafe of brewed coffee. Hah! When I remember that, I roll over the floor laughing. Besides needing coffee due to lack of sleep, I also used it as an escape. I didn’t feel comfortable with the girls in the office in the beginning and going to the pantry in the guise of needing more coffee provided me with an excellent escape from the gossipmongers around.
But I must admit that I was already a coffeeholic then. Never changed over the years. And the fact that coffee still provides me with an excellent escape from reality every now and then.
