Is this a new old radio or an old old radio? I took my mom to a fabric store the other day and looked at patterns. It had been a really long time since I had done this. Amazingly, they had a section on retro patterns from the ’40′s, 50′s and 60′s. The only difference between these and the ones I saved that were my grandmother’s is that hers cost 50 cents and these were $10. Everything old is new again!

They did certainly have some cool designs in that era. It kind of makes you think back when such things were considered high-tech and futuristic

Awesome picture. For some reason, it reminds me of the logo for the movie “Cars.” I’m a little odd (so they tell me).
