Preparing for a feast

Thank goodness for barcode scanners! My aunts and I went grocery shopping last Friday and it took us four carts of grocery items for the feast my aunt will prepare this coming week. Imagine how long it would take us if we went to a grocery store with no barcode scanner… it’d probably take us an hour just to pay for everything.
Her daughter will be sponsoring a school feast and my aunt asked her sister’s and my help for the shopping and food preparation. We gladly said yes. It was always fun working alongside this aunt of mine so whenever there’s a reason to work with her or just be with her, I grab it.
I am not really a good cook but I can be a good helper in the kitchen.
