I got to talk to an old college buddy of mine last night. It was one of the best chats we ever had! She’s recently been promoted at work and is now a junior executive. Wow! We reminisced about college life (again!), talked about past working experience, caught up with what’s new with our lives and talked about our plans for the future. And then talks turned to someone we both know from college…
There is justice in this world! I learned that an old acquaintance, who once said I was too fat(!), is now heavier than I am. A common friend told me that even the best diet pills could probably only do so much for her. It would be really childish of me to think bad of her after all this time but there are grudges that run just too deep. It is really bad of me to feel some semblance of satisfaction with what happened to her but hey, I am only human!
Oh well, I will stop thinking about her to cleanse my mind. Ha!
