Daily habit

Every single day, when I look out the window, I see some of my neighbors chatting with each outside their houses. Nothing wrong there. Except that they do it every single day of their lives from morning until early evening. And most of the time, instead of talking about recipes, their kids, national issues and tv shows, they gossip about our other neighbors.
One of my aunts had that revolting habit before. Chismisan to the max maghapon talaga! But then we helped her get over that habit. It’s actually fairly simple, she took up a part-time job of sorts: sewing rugs. So instead of wasting her time gossiping over who’s kid knocked up who, she is now spending her free time earning additional income for her family. Now, she chats up with her friends from time to time but not like before. She kicked off the habit already, thank goodness!
