These days, doing research is easier compared to the time when there was no computers and internet yet. Now, you can easily browse text books by subject or just key in a word or subject you are researching and a list of references will instantly be given to you. No need to go to different libraries and write down paragraph after paragraph of information you get. Now, you can copy and paste data to a MS Word, edit it easily and print. That easy! In my time, we still used typewriters. If you made a mistake, you had to use a liquid eraser to correct it. Those were the days…
Of course, there is a downside to technology. For one, it somehow makes you lazy. That’s my point of view anyway. Everything is spoon-fed to you. You need not exert that much effort in coming up with a great paper. But then, we just have to make the most out of everything given to us. Technology included.
