No more cramming

Last April 15 was a calm and peaceful day for me. Instead of cramming like I usually do, I went and filed my tax returns and that of my clients. It is one of my habits, cramming. So instead of encountering long lines and short tempers during the filing deadline, I thought of doing it early this year, just to avoid what I experienced last year. Imagine being in a queue for hours and you could not get away because your slot would be taken away from you. I was hungry and thirsty and sweating because the line was up to out of the building already. There were so many people who were trying to beat the deadline that day. If it weren’t for the San Diego tax preparation where I learned basic things about taxation, I would have gone back to the end of the line because I missed something important. Well, not anymore for me! This year and on the coming years as well, early filing is and will be my thing.
