Sometimes, I just ran out of gift ideas. I don’t know if this happens to you as well. But with me, whenever there are numerous occasions that I need to attend, my mind would just refuse to come up with a good suggestion. The usual would be watches for the family members. But if they have one already and is content with it, I will have to think of something else again. I am the only bookworm at home. So books is out of the question. My dad loves polo shirts, so that could be one for him. But then his birthday and father’s day are almost near in dates. We need to think of something different for father’s day then. So what else? Hmm…
My sisters are okay with jewellery. This gift idea is something I can rely on during birthdays and holidays. Last Christmas, I gave my sisters vouchers to the salon. Great idea, isn’t it? Something practical and useful. And my sisters loved it!
I remember there was once a clear out sale of citizen watches in the watch store that we frequent as kids. My parents bought all of us the same kind of watches. It looked old on us but we loved it! We are easy to please actually. You can even just take us out to dinner on our birthdays and it will be enough. For me, you can give me a great book and I will be crazy happy.
