I talked to my aunt last night. We were talking about the state of the economy. A lot of the locals are losing their jobs. Big companies, those you wouldn’t think of closing, are actually doing just that. She is worried that their company might follow suit. Which I seriously doubt because if they do, the water supply in the metropolis will be cut off.
She’s saving and cutting costs. We had a laugh with her discount lingerie. To cut costs, even the lingerie that she bought last holiday season was bought at a discount! Behind our laughter, the worries lurk. I acknowledge it. I am worried about the next few months. But I will try my best to stay positive amidst this economic turmoil.
