Bookworm me

Old habits die hard.

My sister was ribbing me about re-reading books that I love. I have this habit of retreating to something familiar and safe when my world is upside-down. I have an old smartphone that I use as an ebook reader now. I don’t use it as a cellphone anymore. I bought a new one solely for that purpose. I installed an application, iSilo, in the smartphone and have been using it to read ebooks for a number of years now.

I think I have more than 50 ebooks in it. All books are favorites. I read when I don’t feel like writing. I read when I want to be taken in my own world where problems are easily solved.

I don’t keep books that are heavy on the emotions. I keep the romance novels, thrillers and inspirational ones. Everything with a happy ending… books that I can re-read again and again.

Are you a bookworm as well? Do you re-read books like I do? What’s your favorite? Mine’s still the Harry Potter and Twilight series *giggles*

I like books that play with your imagination. Harry Potter is one of them. And yes I re-read books as well. It’s fun! :-)

By the way, since you like coffee very much, I wonder if you have read “Break-up Diaries” by Maya O. Calica. I like the way how coffee was incorporated into the story. :-)

Hello! Thanks for the advice, re: doing back up for my posts. Can I just import all those to wordpress so that I will have an online back up? Or I will just save all of them sa e-mails ko na lang? MY PC memory would not be able to accommodate those.

    Anyways,I loved the Smartphone also.
What I have right now is my N70.I hope it will not crash soon. Thanks to e-books also that I could go back to reading whenever I want. I just do not have time to really read that much anymore.

Yeah, I read the complete Twilight series using my mobile phone too! :)
Gellianne’s last blog post..Do not loose the element of surprise
